Odd, but for some reason I still see your old picture here at work. When I log in from home, I see the new one. I tried clearing the cache etc, but it did nothing. At home I did nothing, and your new picture just showed up.

>Yes it is me. I was tempted to put someone else's picture, but no, it's me. :0)

>>London has a great transit system (at least compared to what I'm used to here). Of course, you have to remember that they had rail underneath the cities back when Pinkertons was protecting stagecoaches.

>>PS. Good picture. Is it of you? ;)

>>>Much like Portland, OR. There is a pretty good bus service to/from downtown but only within the city limits of course, but the rail is strictly to the tech park and back (thanks to Al Gore I think) unless it has changed since I was there. Not a good mass transit system at all. In some cities the bus system is just too much trouble to use or too dangerous. I think some cities come closer to a good mass transit system, but nothing in comparison to London and others. I've used many here - Portland, San Francisco and Oakland, Seattle, New York, San Antonio, and a few others.

One of our illustrious city councillors took a trip across the top of Toronto from the east end to the west end through the 905 regions using the various bus systems. It took an entire day. IIRC, about 13 hours.

In addition, inside the city, there are lots of buses and other systems. As soon as you cross the city limit, there are fewer, though there is commuter rail that goes quite far, but only through downtown (or as we refer to it, "Center City").
