SNIP...

Depends on your business requirements. In our LOB, we must import the entire file in one database transaction. We might have as many as 2000 transactions (messages) in a single file.

What happens if you have a run-time error during parsing? How easy is it to recover? Can the client resend a partial file? These some of the things to consider.
