we generate pdf's with the following tools:
- Adobe Generic Postscript driver
- Ghostscript

The process is easy:
- save the postscript file to disk by using the Adobe Generic Postscript driver
- push to postscript file through Ghostscript to generate the pdf

We have this process running on several servers (as COM+) and it works like a charm. Creating 100+ page pdf's is extremely fast. If you install the proper settings for the Postscript driver you can even get the pdf's in color.

>I must admit I glossed over Mind's Eye because it was called a "Report Engine" and only 1 of the application's 16 pieces of printing is actually a VFP report. Have you successfully printed Word automation documents using it as well?
