I don't know, Albert, when you enter the edit form, in NEW mode, have you already created the new rec to be worked on? Is the table buffered, ie do you need to issue a TableRevert() before you can exit? In edit mode I presume nothing has been done yet to an existing record so buffering doesn't have to be satisfied.
