Probably is correct, except that there are those cases when they will. Also, with the experience level dwindling away, there are times when after the interview and the employer is fully aware of the level of knowledge and expertise the prospect has, they will offer it when they never intended to initially. Sometimes the offer will come after the employer has gone through all of the other possibles and not found another good prospect to choose from.
