If you're going to have static PCX files than memo(binary) is good. Otherwise just keeping the name is better I think. If you want to keep in memo you would save "append memo myMemoFieldName from myPCXFilename" and to retrieve "copy memo myMemoFieldName to myPCXFilename". With PCXs you could use gen fields also.
