Hi Linda,
As Perti said, You should defenetely check XFRX.
I do simillar kind of reporting with it
where ordinary frx like data report is just fraction or part of wider
report extraction/composition. In order to do so I used xfrx/pdfl library in the past and lately (introduced in version 11.1) I use xfrx scripts producing intermediate xff format translatable to all other formats supported by xfrx.
It is not something easily done / I don't advice you try it home alone
and for this particular task, just letting you know that things like
this can be done this way. Did not try merging data reporting with word layouts/chunks (I Don't like Word) but I am doing it quiet easy (now) with excel and/or plain text kept prefixed (or dynamic/template) report content.
In order to reach this stage, in past few years I developed
my own reporting engine/tool (See it's predecessor CodeRep tool here in downloads) which is is able to handle this kind of complex multipart crossformat reporting tasks very easy (completely visually right now) comparing to admitedly painfull report coding.
If time/circumstances alows, it will hopefully be published by the end of this summer. There4 check Xfrx product right now, and UT downloads sometime in september because prospects for achieving such complex reporting scenarios might be quiet different then they are right now :)
