>>I have a client that is going to pay me to do something that I've always wanted to try. Need recommadations for a fax program that can be controlled from VFP. Basically I want to get the fax in (save it as a graphics file), prompt the user for a destination email address, attach the file to the email and send it out. The email client is Outlook so that end is no problem. I need the fax program. Is WinFax 8.0 acceptable?

>I developed a fax server using WinFax 8.0, and it works great! Very easy to interface, print reports from VFP, attach saved files, etc. FYI, if you print the report, you don't have to save it as a graphics file, you just fax it, and have winfax prompt you for the destination.
Thanx for the info. The app I'm building is primarily just receiving faxes and emailing them to the correct project manager. I downloaded a demo of WinFax 8.0 this morning and it appears that I may only have to write some VB scripts to popup some pick list but everything else appears to be built into WinFax 8.0 and Outlook 98.
Thanx again.
