Just want to thank you again. Your second point lnForms = _SCREEN.FORMCount was the culprit. The form released the toolbar in its release() method, so I was wrong when I decremented lnForms by 1.

Once I made the suggested fix, almost all is well now (need to fix one extra little problem).
