BC, the province I live in is almost 4x the size of the entire UK, and is bigger than Texas and Oklahoma combined. And BC is by no means the largest Canadian province.

I drove 2.5 hours x 2 (down and back) twice a weekend for the past year to get from Greensboro to Hope Mills and back Friday night and Sunday while I was living up there. Welcome to the reality of America. It is HUGE and the distances anywhere are much much more than in Europe. Driving to another state here is like driving from one country to another in EU (and sometimes farther).
