I woud use TEXTMERGE and Name expressions
TEXT TO lcSql TEXTMERGE NOSHOW PRETEXT 15
SELECT <<latmp[1]>> as <<lcnewfield>> 
  FROM (lcoldfile) 
  INTO TABLE (lcnewfile) DATABASE (lcTAbleDbc)
ENDTEXT
