Yes, but in some instances you'll get warnings (assuming here you use Visual Studio) that certain constructs have been deprecated or changed. When I ported my 1.1 apps to 2.0 (only had two at the time and decided I did not want to maintain twocopies of VS and Framework, I found the changes pretty easy to do.
