Thank for your suggestions. From your suggestions and Sergey's, this is what i have done and it works. No more 2nd page and delayed printing spooling problem. what i did was to use and place the "set printer to" (instead of eject) after set printer off and set device to screen, not before it.

set device to printer
set printer on

@  7,8 say "Date"
@  8,8 say "Payee Name"
@ 10,8 say "Amount In Words"

set printer off
set device to screen
set printer to
