I just opened scctext and saw that it deals with few special cases (scx/vcx, lbx/frx, menus) and picks which fields and specially which memos to carry to text. Which means no binaries.
Need a general utility of that kind? Use XML, or roll your own. Convert anything binary to Base64, keep the rest as values - basically the way MySql does its backups as scripts with insert statements.
