I bet they are...

We have 2 livings rooms - one upstairs with the nice furniture that she can't sit on, and one downstairs with the older furniture.

When she is upstairs, she can sit on our laps but can't touch the furniture. When she is downstairs, she knows the difference, and she will climb off of our laps onto an armrest, and balance there and look at both of us daring for either of us to scold her. What a little weasel.

>We kept our boxer crated or in the fenced yard when no one was home. This time though, he was roaming loose in the house because my daughter and her friend were in the house at the time. Of course, you know by now how well teens pay attention to everything a dog is doing! Also, dogs tend to be VERY QUIET when they are chewing up your furniture :o)

>>It dawned on me the other day that even after he is housebroken Crash will probably have to be crated when no one is home. Otherwise the chances are excellent I will come home to find the house destroyed.

I took him for his first vet appointment on Saturday and everyone there was swooning over him. Even Dr. Barcus (that's really her name -- talk about destiny), who recommended against getting a lab.

I told them to put him in his crate or out back if they couldn't supervise him but they get a phone call or something and forget. On two consecutive days last week I came home from work to find a Sopranos box set and a windowsill chewed up. Not good.

I spent a couple of hours messing around with it and "progressed" to the point that the flash drive is no longer bootable <g>. Oh well. The laptop running Vista is usable, just not as well integrated with the two XP boxes as I would like. We'll get by.
