Based on the fact that Steven Black couldn't reproduct your problem, my guess is that you have the Left property of the form set to a negative number, and so VFP thinks the tool tip fits when it doesn't. Is that the case?

>Tooltip text? Brilliant idea I thought. With 127 characters you can really prepare some helpful guidance for each Field/Object. What I found, however, is that you can't control where the text appears and so, if it chooses to appear left of a field which is already on the left hand side of the screen - and it's more than half a dozen words, half of it disappears off the edge of the screen. Anyone got a solution to that one?
