Well now, I certainly don't claim any level of expertise here (notice the word "perhaps") but I have seen many news references to Google being a potential threat to MS. I suppose it would depend on what arena you want to discuss, OS, Office, Internet, etc. AOL was also mentioned at one time although I think they have already mostly self destructed. If I had to bet I'd be looking at the open source community, linux et. al.
