I am looking at your formset right now, and so far nothing disappears from the dataenvironment, You have there BOOKS, AUTHORS and PARAMCAT tables, right?
Your Find form cannot find ALLBOOKS view - it is not in DE.
(locate all for alltrim(allbooks.accessno)== alltrim(thisformset.form2.text1.value))
