So the gallery is made up of modern facsimiles of what they would have seen through the magic lantern I guess. Of course, we can make use of the tri-colour xparencies to produce these images nowadays. It just beat me how he could have done it then :-)
Not so hard to understand once you realise that he was way smarter than either of us.
