>>>>Yep. A Subway sub is like eating a salid on a bun compaired to Quizno's. It costs a buck or two more but I think it's worth it because the food is so much better.
>>>We have Subway here but not Quinzos. Maybe I should be first to open up a franchise here. Help make us all fat like Americans :-)
>>
>>I saw a report the other day that said by 2011 75% of all American's will be overweight. I'm built like a toothpick myself (couldn't tell by the way I eat though..ha). I used to hate the fact I can't put on weight but now that I'm older I feel lucky. I think a big part of the problem here in the USA is not just how much people over here eat - but WHAT they eat when they do. There's people in my office that eat at McDonald's every day! Its like having heart-attack-in-a-bag for lunch..geeze.

>If you want to never eat at McDonald's again, just watch "Supersize Me". The guy ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner at McD's for a month and gained something like 25 pounds. Not to mention the effect on his cholesterol.
The interesting bit of that film was that right at the end just before he gave up the doctor told him that the ill effects where beginning to tail off as it seemed his body was making an adjustment to the diet. I'm not selling eating that stuff but it is remarkable what the human body can put up with.
