I have been developing a VCX editor that possibly could open the visual library. One of its features is to copy code blocks from one VCX (or SCX) to the class being edited. You possibly could use this to recover the code -- you would need to recreate the base control with all objects (buttons, listboxes, etc.). Open in the editor and then copy from the corrupted VCX.
