The Minneapolis area is an OK place to live I find. When I first moved here from Atlanta in 1990, I was surprised how small townish it was, stores and malls closing at 6:00 pm, etc. Eventually I got used to it, the area has become a little more cosmopolitan and I like it here now.

The local newspaper and politicians are constantly screaming for higher taxes and more laws, but that's probably common everywhere.
