>>>>>Ok, what is the difference? I have 105mb of MP3 files. How come I can put over 700mb of files if I don't do them as songs? What's the difference? Why is about the minutes? Shouldn't it be about the size of the files?

>>>Ahhh, so if I just direct-copy the MP3 files, will they not be recognized when put into a CD player? They have to be converted first?
>>
>>Exactly. You can either store the files compressed (i.e., leave them as MP3), in which case only MP3 players can handle them, but not older CD players.
>>
>>Or, uncompress the files, in which case you maintain compatibility - but waste lots of space.

>It's funny, I used MusicMatch Jukebox to burn two audio CDs and they would not play in an older CD player or a DVD player, but do on the Laptop/PC and a another DVD player we have (that might be newer). Haven't tried it in the car yet. Wassup with that?
I burn cd's at my notebook, my car plays them but my home dvd-player doesn't play... I burn cd's at my desktop pc, my home dvd-player plays these cd's...
I see mp3 cd players and usb sockets for play mp3 files on the new cars... that's good...
On the other hand there's two ways to play mp3 files at your car:
1-Your car audio has a cd-in. You can plug your mp3 player.
2-Your car has a casette-player. You can plug a fake casette for mp3 players:

At least it read these cd's.
