>If you expect conflict between a field name and memory variable, always use alias prefix.

Sergey,

I don't expect a conflict. Not in my own code anyway. But why would I need to use type() function at all if I can use FIELD() function in the first place to check for field's existence without possible ambiguity?

Thanks in advance.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
