Thanks for the info. This problem interests me because I see something similar coming down the pike to me soon.

So the in the report designer everything is based on field number, not name. Are the fields of widely varying widths? And if so, how can that be dealt with in the report designer?

Preparing HTML (or rich text) in advance and letting the report writer use it would be cool, if possible...
