>>The users of an app of mine are sometimes getting an error 1113 ("File is not open") when an editbox is refreshed. There is no code in the Refresh method, nor is there any code in the parent class. The line number reported is 0 (yes, I have the debugging info compiled in, so it's not that - all other errors generate a line number). Any ideas on this one?

Well, it occurred to me it might be a false error message, but I haven't determined what else might be going on apart from what VFP claims is going on (error 1113). The control is real darned simple. Its control source is a local view and it has some code in the LostFocus, but other than that, there's nothing special about it. The view in question is definitely open at the time the control is refreshed. There are no relations set. Just kind of an odd error, for sure.
