You are surely in line for a gold star on your butt for viewing "Cocktail" in its entirety. Salud! Probably the worst faux pas you could make, should you ever meet Tom Cruise, would be asking him about that movie. Is there a bigger stinker on his resume? I didn't think so.

But please don't dismiss the movies of the 80s with such an airy swipe. There were plenty of good ones. Really. Honest injun.
