Did you verify that connection that views use is correct?

>I have a problem with a database which is connecting to Oracle. I can pull data using 'sqlexec()', but if I open the container the remote views are in and enter the 'modify database' command, then choose 'Browse' or 'Modify' on any of the views, I get one of two messages:
