Yes you could. And another thing if you don't see left and top properties in props window either your PEM sheet is set to nondefault props only or you're not looking at the props of correct object. If you mean the container itself then it's right in class designer it wouldn't have left, top etc but you can drag&drop to a form (from there on it has that props) or set those props in code (init is a good place for that).
