PCCharge Pro is CC software I've used in the past. It was fairly easy to setup and they have VFP code samples. We found that the charge software itself wasn't too hard to integrate into VFP since it's COM based.
We spent more time setting up the test and merchant accounts and learning about CC charges/credits/voids/end of day settling, etc. That stuff will be about the same whichever the actual software used.
