Kevin,

Whatever that I have in my Win 2003 server development environment it is also in my Win Vista Dev machine, because it also happens there.

are you working with a solution that has multiple projects in it?
A: I have a solution with a web app. and the class library and no other projects.

If so, does the error occur if you open the Business Object solution (with no other projects)?
A: It happens also if I open the BOL alone (but remember that sometimes it works).

Does it happen after you run the application or instantiate business objects?
A; It happaens all the time. As I said 4 out 5 times I try it.

If so, is there something in your application that might be locking the file?

It is my impresion that the problem is when MM try to read the configuration file. There is something in the parsing process that fail. I thought that it was some not wanted character in the file that I can't notice and is making the parsing fail, but then again sometimes it works.

There is one additional think that I clearly remember happening since the first time I ran 2.4 and that I mentioned to you at the begining of this problem.

It is that when I am designing a page and try to browse for the BindingSource I can always see the Business Objects I already registered with the page. But when I try to browse from the bindingSourceMember property box I never can get the object member. That always happened to me with version 2.4. I get an error:
" node not found in the configuration file."

I never cared about this as I can always type it, but it seem to be related to the problem.
