I guess it worked for a while because there must have been uncommitted changes hanging around. I must have cleaned up the code and so now no uncommitted changes and it returns F.
I set a switch in DM.BeforeUpdate() and use that in DM.AfterUpdate() to trigger the code I need to execute. It works, but I hate to use switches if I can avoid it.
