I've been adding security and its going well (as well as a mundane, tedious task can be expected). I have a question though. How do I set the security on the Security Setup... menu option. When I assign the ControlID, it goes dim for all users (since no one has been authorized for it yet), so I can't click it to change to the security mode.

I just had an idea - set the default access level to FULL, set the access level, then reset the access level to default. I tried that and apparently, since I set it to default, it didn't save the access level. Do I need to get into the database and set it there?


A few observations:

On the User form and the Roles form, the grid does not respond to the mouse.

On the User Security Setup form, it would be nice to multi-select the users and roles.

On the Security Control ID Edit Form, after generating the ID, if the Save button would become the default control, I wouldn't have to go to the mouse to save the form.

Overall, setting up the security has been pretty uneventful. I've never been a big fan of boring, but it beats Wild-Eyed Panic any day.
