In addition to BulkCopy that Michael suggested, you might want to look at SQL Server Integration Services (assuming you're using SQL 2005). I started using it a few months ago, and it is many times better than DTS in terms of functionality.

I like it so much, that any time I need to bring data from another source into SQL Server, I look at SSIS first. It takes a little while to learn because there's so much to it, but it's very powerful.
