It overrides everything else if family is the most important thing in this person's life. I took a lesser job once and stayed for 5 years simply because I was a single parent and the job was regular hours and closeby. There were aspects of the job which were terrible but the ability to be with my daughter on a daily basis was more important than anything. I would do it again without hesitating. Family always comes first and they will be there at the last, not the job.
