Sounds a bit like you are trying to register MSVCR71.DLL. What you need to do is to register VFP9R.DLL, if you copy it onto the Common Files location. Alternatively, you can just copy VFP9R.DLL and VFP9RENU.DLL into your application folder. This requires that you use an EXE, though.
