The index is on "cField" and my expression is "SET FILTER TO cField='C' or cField='U'" I've also tried "SET FILTER TO INLIST(cField,'C','U')"

I could use a view, but I have a form with a matching browse window that's used to lookup records. With constant resetting the active order and JKey-type searching on 8 differen't fields, re-quering the view constantly seems problematic. But I'm fairly new to visual, so I may be missing something.
