I did find a DELETED ON statement (created by App Wizard), but its removal didn't help enough.

I am using a grid, who's update is the source of the delay. Unfortunatly, I have a JKey-type search on various fields that update a grid while the filter is set, so I can't use SET KEY. Well, I could by changing my seeks to locates, but them I'd need to create a cursor for my grip populated by locate results, and then I might as well have a view, as you suggest.

I'm a little weary of constantly updating a view with JKey-type searches on multiple fields (all indexed), but this would allow me to add the ability to search on multiple fields at once.
