BTW, after I re-set fontsize to default for each column and did some other minor resetting to default, the form seems to operate better, more clicks are now recognised (but not yet 100%).

I think I was solving similar problems in the past by adding

this.value = this.value in the Click method of the checkbox. I may need to try this trick again.
