>>>I'm on my laptop. I went to the PC and set some folders to be Shared. Came back to the laptop and they are now available in my network, but it says that I do not have permissions to open them. Which needs to be rebooted, the laptop, the PC, or both? I assume that's the issue. Thanks!

>Actually I just rebooted both and it's not letting me into them. This server/workstation stuff is really annoying sometimes. I made the entire C drive sharable as an Administrator, but of course I still have to share individual folder underneath that. And it seems to only work 75% of the time. I believe I'm doing the same thing as I did last time for other folders. Does it matter that these are under another user on the PC who is not an administrator? Even though I set them to share while logged-in as an administrator?

Bear in mind that the user JayPC\Administrator is not the same as JayServer\Administrator. If you're not using the "Everyone" group, make sure you've given permissions to the former user (fully qualified with the machine name).
