I agree about The Company. It was GREAT. I'm looking forward to the next two episodes.

I'm not so sure about Mad Men. The episode I saw seemed very disjointed and hard to follow. Perhaps I should catch them from the beginning on On Demand.

There are fictional characters of course, but there is also Bill Harvey, Berlin station chief that bugged the Russian's cable traffic ( the Venona Intercepts ) for years, "The Wiz" - Frank Wizner - DD Plans (black ops), Dulles, James Jesus Angleton ( Michael Keaton in a role giving real character that was munged in Damon's 'composite' character ), Kim Philby ... good stuff.
