Wasn't he on some TV show? ;-)

That was one of the two "American Idol" seasons I watched with the girls. I knew right away he had the biggest career ahead of him. The format just wasn't right for him. He is a rocker and the show forces contestants to jump all over the musican horizon. Nashville week, Stevie Wonder week, Burt Bacharach week, etc. Good grief. It would be insane for a professional singer to try to work in so many different genres instead of specializing in the one (or maybe two) they are best suited for.
