When I will be able to do it, I will do some reorganisation in the forums so all those technical threads will be moved in a technical forums thus making them available for such options. The Chatter forum should remain non technical. This is its purpose. So, I will do my best to better respond to those needs by providing some enhancements in the forum design so everyone will be able to use it more easy to post such content.
