I have an app that was created on a Windows 2000 pc, and my monitor was the old standard 4:3 style. Just recently I bought a new pc with Windows XP (SP2), and it came with a 20" widescreen monitor. I'm set up in 800x600 resolution.

1) Problem: While in development mode, it will not show the right 1/3 of my work screens, so that I'm not able to change anything on that side.

2) As an aside, I don't know what all the hullabaloo is about these wide angle monitors anyway. It's not that you're seeing anything more on the right side of the screen. All do is just stretch out the display. In fact the resulting display, after this stretching, is that it distorts the display. People in jpgs for example, appear wider and fatter. Maybe this stretching is at the root of my problem, above.

Can anyone help with either of my two problems?
I wonder if there is some setting to fix this.
