Tough to answer. There are so many things that could be considered extremely severe, but to pick the most severe? I guess I would have to go with blindness. My world and most everything I do is based on sight. Painting, sculpting, the cake thing, golf, computers, driving, reading the newspaper... Yeah, I know, I could still do those things in some way, but it could never come close to being the same.

The sad part is, that with diabetes comes a pretty good chance that I will go blind some day. Hmmmm... Ok, I pick silence too! <g>
