Kevin,

>I am using the web forms application project to create a new site. I'm leaving an opening for the possibility of advertising in the future and I am setting up a block of reserved space with several mmAdRotators. The issue is that I am looking to have several ad bars and the rotators seem to be independent. Is there a way to link several ad rotators so that if I have say 6 of them that I can be sure that they are all going to select different ad records from my underlying table?

I don't know of a way to link different ad rotators and make sure they are displaying different ads. You could point them at different image sources to make sure they don't duplicate banners.

>Also, as a side note, you cannot add a mmAdRotator to a mmTable without it giving you an illegal type conversion error on the mmTable.

Are you getting this error an design time or run time? Have you tried using a regular ASP.NET table?

Thanks for the above, but I will likely try to customize the AdRotator to accomplish my task rather than duplicate my data source on a per ad basis as the problem of selecting a subset of a larger number of available ads would persist (even be more prodominent) in this solution.

The mmAdRotator can be used inside of an ASP table just not a Mere Mortal's table and the error presents itself at runtime.

Also, I was looking to create a user control to hold my set of AdRotators and if I'm correct you cannot create a business object in either the Master Page or in a mmUserControl. Can you confirm this for me? If not, then I guess I'm going to be forced to create my ad business class in every form.

Thanks in advance.
