It is a pretty complex form with virtually every kind of control, multiple pageframes, etc. I find that if I set focus to an editbox or optiongroup before running the report it will work. However, it does not work if the focus is on a textbox when it is run. Can you provide a little more explaination so I can figure out what is going on?

Don,

I do not know why when you have a grid with focus just before running a report this fails, I suspect it is for after the preview of the first page finishes and it is closed to display the next one, Foxpro calls some method of the form's current active control (gotFocus?) and there, after some bug in the grid, it changes the active workarea, but is all just wild guesses, I know nothing.

Now, what you say about not working when a textbox has the focus, I do not recall that ever happening to me, so I am sorry but I can not help you there, do you have some code in the gotFocus() that changes the active workarea?
