>>>I have created non-updatable views of views with no problem. Well, I have had one problem that I can live with on a view of a table that is based on a field value in another open view [kind of a relation set up between 2 views without using indexes on the views]
>>>
>>>You could look at the code for the 2 views, and write [copy & paste] your own Create Sql View parameterized statement to create the 2nd view.

>>The problem I have with the view of a table based on a field value in another open view is I can not edit the 2nd view again in the view designer because VFP can not find the 1st view in order to open it. Even though I have the DBC open, VFP is trying to find a table instead of a view. :(
