>>And besides if you dont wanna be called bad names then perhaps it might be a bright idea not to walk around looking and dressing like a tatto covered female thug/gang member.

>Do you have any reason to believe that this particular member of the team looks as you described? The pictures I can find of her (try Google images) don't project that image at all.

I'm not sure which one it is that's suing - but I did see pictures and stuff on the news right as it was happening - at that point most of the images were less than flattering - as for all that tattos you could see all those when they were playing. After the first day the media quit showing pictures of them dressed poorly and just showed pictures of them in press conferences or clips of games. The press conferences showed them in female suits - the images on the first day showed a few of them sporting the gang-attire look. Obviously since this lawsuit is going on their public image and appearance is going to be cleaned up so everyone will feel sorry for these pooooor inocent victims of this horible evil crime (so they can sqeeze a few bucks out of Imus).

>Playing on a college sports team should not open one to the kind of public insult these girls were subjected to.

Well if you pick something to do that's going to land you in the public eye you best be prepaired to deal with the nutjobs and flakes (and the media). But like I said before, Imus' comments were in very poor taste and he shouldn't of done it. He'd been pulling stunts like that for years - I'm still kinda baffled as to why THIS incident is the one he got in trouble for. I do agree that there is no excuse for the insults of any college sports team like that - but hey if you can't handle taunts and jeers then you probably better not be playing a sport that's on national TV. If someone says something you don't like just blow it off - don't go start hunting for someone to sue.

>(All that said, I think the lawsuit is ill-considered.)

Guess there is no question how I feel about the lawsuit..hahaha. The guy apolgized and lost his well-paying job and possibly his whole carrer so its not like he got away with it. Just let it go an move on..geeze.
