I did some checking and this might be what's happening (this is a pure guess). I never even looked at the Tools/Options... dialog in 6.0. And I've never re-set the CENTURY in this dialog in 5.0. Now, after checking my registry, I noted that CENTURY was set to OFF in the registry entry for 6.0. Further, in checking the 5.0 entries, it was also OFF. What I'm thinking is that when installation occurs, it copies the 5.0 settings into 6.0. So if you had CENTURY set to ON in 5.0, when you installed 6.0 it would have copied it and made it the default.
At least this is my story and I'm sticking to it...just remember it's Friday.:-)
